and yet another entry this month. Not a playmobil topic though. After detailed planning I finally “gave” Masumi her birthday present in the form of a weekend trip to Kusatsu. A famous onsen area in the middle of Gunma Prefecture (~100 km northwest of Tokyo). I did not know that the merry message “snow” did not [...] Every autumn turn Japan into one of the most beautiful countrysides imaginable. I can only recommend you to spend some time here in early November. This being said, the last two days, Masumi and I went by train to Kofu in the Yamanashi Prefecture and from there by car to Shizuoka. Masumi’s greatest wish for this [...] After a bit of planing and advice from my colleague Harald about a good Momiji oportunity near Mt Fuji, I got up this morning at 3:45am.
