A southern speciality A one day trip to Atlanta. Recommended by Jürgen as well as Francois, with the latter joining in on the trip, was a really nice idea. I have to admit, I was hoping for more opportunity to see some cultural sites, but was a bit out of luck in Atlanta. Anyway, we [...] and yet another entry this month. Not a playmobil topic though. After detailed planning I finally “gave” Masumi her birthday present in the form of a weekend trip to Kusatsu. A famous onsen area in the middle of Gunma Prefecture (~100 km northwest of Tokyo). I did not know that the merry message “snow” did not [...] While last year I celebrated the New Year in European style, this year I did it the Japanese way. For the following it is important to note that this is Masumi’s family and their way of celebrating New Year.
